Intro to New Media

Course Summary

This was the first course I took in the NMI. We learned valuable history lessons on the evolution of media from the beginning to now. These lessons culminated in our final Dystopia/Utopia Project. Our group took a look at the year 2029 if it were a dystopia with Amazon monopolizing all industries. This project allowed us to think of the future implications technologies may cause, and how to maintain ethical guidelines when designing products.
